Meet Our Founders

Mohammed Abdulmawjood
A passionate Computer Engineer with expertise in Python, Java, C, and Matlab, Mohammed has dedicated his career to making engineering an inclusive and welcoming field. With experience mentoring at York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering and supporting STEM outreach through robotics programs, he brings both technical knowledge and a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.

Educated in Qatar during his early years, Mohammed completed his early schooling locally before pursuing his higher education and professional career abroad. He moved to Canada, where he studied and worked in the field of engineering, gaining valuable international experience in both academia and industry. Now back in Qatar, he is committed to bridging the gap between these two worlds, bringing the best of global STEM education and practices to empower students in the region and inspire the next generation of innovators.

Mohammed Al-Ahbabi
A Legal Counsel at QatarEnergy LNG and a versatile entrepreneur, Mohammed combines his legal expertise with a passion for innovation and leadership. Beyond law, he is the co-founder of Nolimitsraces, owner of Shift Bikes and Café, and Vice President of Al Rayyan SC Track & Field, where he manages large-scale sports programs. His diverse background in law, business, and sports management brings a unique strategic vision to Wadi Gadgets.

Born and raised in Qatar, Mohammed went abroad to pursue his studies in law, where he also came to recognize the growing importance of programming, electronics, and technological literacy in shaping the future. With this global perspective, he returned to Qatar determined to help nurture a new generation of thinkers and problem-solvers equipped with the STEM skills needed to meet tomorrow’s challenges. His journey reflects a strong belief that Qatar’s future depends on empowering youth through accessible and modern education.
